What to Do If Your OKX Deposit Shows 'Confirmed' but Hasn’t Arrived

If the blockchain shows 'confirmed' but your OKX account balance hasn't updated, it usually doesn't mean your funds are lost. Instead, it's likely stuck at one of two stages: 'block sync' or 'platform crediting'. On-chain confirmation and exchange-side crediting are two separate things.

Prerequisite: First, identify where you are seeing 'confirmed'

Before troubleshooting, clarify one critical question: where are you seeing the 'confirmed' status?

  • If you see it on a blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan, Solscan) → this means the transaction has been successfully included in a block, but the platform has not yet processed it into your account.

  • If you see it on the withdrawal page of your source wallet or exchange → this only means the sender has broadcast the transaction, not that OKX has received it.

If you checked via a blockchain explorer, continue with the steps below. If you only saw 'sent' on the withdrawal page, wait until enough block confirmations have occurred first.

Step 1: Check if the deposit network is suspended

What to do: Verify whether the specific coin and network you used for the deposit are currently open for deposits on OKX.

How to do it:

  • Open the OKX Deposit page, search for your coin, and select the corresponding network.

  • If the network is currently suspended, the page will show a warning (e.g., 'Network under maintenance' or 'Temporarily unavailable').

  • In such cases, the deposit transaction is confirmed on-chain, but the platform cannot credit it yet.

When is this step complete: You have checked whether the deposit page displays a 'Suspended' notice.

If the network is suspended, your on-chain confirmed assets are not lost. Once the network resumes, the platform will process the deposit. The deposit page usually shows an estimated recovery time.

Step 2: Verify if the required number of block confirmations has been reached

What to do: Check whether the on-chain confirmation count meets OKX's minimum confirmation requirement.

How to do it:

  1. Copy your deposit transaction hash (TxID).

  2. Look it up on the corresponding blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan, Solscan, TRONSCAN).

  3. Check the number of confirmations shown.

  4. Compare it with the 'Confirmations required for deposit' displayed on OKX's deposit page for that coin/network.

Requirements vary by coin and network. For example, USDT on TRON requires 19 confirmations, while on Ethereum it requires 32 confirmations. Always refer to the actual number shown on the deposit page.

When is this step complete: The on-chain confirmations count is equal to or greater than the number required by OKX.

If the confirmations count hasn't been reached yet, the funds will not be credited—not because the platform is delaying, but because the blockchain hasn't finished its confirmation process. At this stage, you can only wait; there is no way to speed it up.

Step 3: Rule out 'block sync' delay

What to do: Determine if there is a delay in syncing blocks to the platform's wallet.

How to do it:

  • If the required on-chain confirmations have been met but the funds still haven't appeared, it may be due to block sync latency.

  • According to OKX, there can be a delay between block synchronization and wallet crediting, which may cause a deposit to not be credited immediately.

How to verify: Go to OKX AssetsDeposit History, locate this deposit, and check its status:

  • If it shows 'In progress' or 'Pending confirmation', the platform is still processing it.

  • If it shows 'Completed' but your balance hasn't changed, it is likely a page cache issue. Try refreshing the app or logging out and back in.

When is this step complete: You have checked the status in deposit history and ruled out display delays caused by caching.

Step 4: Check if the amount is below the minimum deposit limit

What to do: Confirm whether your deposited amount meets the minimum requirement for that coin on the selected network.

How to do it:

  • On the OKX deposit page, check the 'Minimum deposit amount' for the specific coin and network.

  • If your amount is below this threshold, even if the transaction is confirmed on-chain, the platform will not credit the funds.

Deposits below the minimum limit will not be credited and cannot be refunded—the on-chain transfer succeeded, but the platform system will not accept it.

Step 5: If all of the above are ruled out, contact customer support

What to do: Submit a ticket so that platform engineers can investigate.

How to do it:

  1. Prepare the following information:

    • Deposited coin and amount

    • Network used

    • Transaction hash (TxID)

    • Deposit time

    • Deposit address

  2. In the App: bottom MeHelp CenterFeedback.

  3. Select 'Deposit not credited' and follow the instructions to submit the details and screenshots.

When is this step complete: After submission, you will receive a ticket number and wait for a reply from support.

Common causes for deposit failures

  1. Network suspended for deposits: Some deposit networks may be temporarily closed, causing crediting delays.

  2. Block confirmations not yet met: On-chain confirmations are still in progress; simply wait.

  3. Wrong coin or network: If the coin, network, or contract address does not match exactly, the deposit cannot be automatically credited.

  4. Missing or incorrect Tag/Memo: For coins that require a tag (e.g., XRP, XLM), an incorrect or missing tag will prevent the deposit from being credited.

  5. Using a smart contract address for deposit: Always use the 'deposit address' generated by the platform, not the token's contract address.

  6. Below minimum deposit limit: The amount is too small and the system will not credit it.

Risk reminder

  • Do not repeat the deposit: Transactions already confirmed on-chain cannot be reversed. If you are contacting support, do not submit multiple identical deposits at the same time, as this will complicate the resolution process.

  • Limited recovery chance for wrong network deposits: If the issue is confirmed to be a network mismatch, customer support will need to intervene, but a 100% recovery cannot be guaranteed.

  • OKX customer support can only handle deposit issues initiated through the platform and cannot directly contact or intervene in external blockchain projects.

How to confirm the issue is resolved

Go to OKX Assets and search for the coin you deposited—if your balance has increased, the deposit has been credited successfully.

Then open Deposit History; if the deposit status shows 'Completed', the process is done. If more than 24 hours have passed with no credit and the on-chain confirmations have been met, submit a feedback request with your transaction hash and deposit screenshot for support to handle.
