CETUS (Cetus Protocol) is the core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol of the Sui ecosystem, and one of the largest DEXs on Sui. Below are the detailed steps for funding and buying.

1. Preparation: Register and complete identity verification

Download the OKX app or visit the official website to sign up, then submit your identity information following the instructions to complete KYC. This is a prerequisite; without verification you cannot deposit or trade.

2. Deposit USDT into your account

The main trading pair for CETUS is CETUS/USDT, so your account needs USDT.

If you already have USDT: skip this step and go directly to step 3.
If you don't have USDT yet: in the app, go to [Assets] → [Deposit], search for USDT, and the system will generate a deposit address. Transfer USDT from another wallet or via bank transfer to this address.

Key risk: USDT exists on different networks such as ERC-20, TRC-20, BEP-20. Make sure you choose the network that exactly matches the one displayed on the OKX deposit page. Choosing the wrong network will result in loss of funds and cannot be reversed.

4. Confirm your assets after the trade

After placing the order, you can check your CETUS balance under [Assets] → [Spot Account]. If the balance shows CETUS, you have successfully purchased it. If the balance has not changed, go to the Order Center to check whether the order has been filled.
