Case B: The receiver specifically requires opBNB—opBNB is a Layer 2 scaling solution for BNB Chain with lower gas fees (around $0.001 per transaction). However, the receiver's wallet must support the opBNB network, or the funds will be lost.
Goal: Confirm whether the receiver's wallet is set to BNB Smart Chain or opBNB. The two networks cannot be mixed.
Step 2: Choose the Correct Network and Address on the Binance Withdrawal Page
Choosing the wrong network is the most common and fatal mistake when transferring BNB.
What to do: Find the BNB withdrawal option in the Binance app, enter the receiving address, and select the transfer network.
