How to Fix Binance System Prompt 'Region Mismatch'
Turn off your VPN and ensure your network IP address matches the country or region of your registered residence. "Region Mismatch" means the issuing country of your submitted ID or your declared country of residence does not match the IP location Binance detects when you log in. The system will block verification directly instead of proceeding to review. You need to align your network environment with your identity information.
Prerequisite: Identify the Exact Error Message
Log in to your Binance account and go to the identity verification page. If you see a message like "The service you are trying to access is not available in your region" or "Country/region of residence does not match your current login IP", it means Binance has detected that your network IP address does not match the country/region saved in your account.
What counts as done: Confirm the error message contains keywords like "region", "country", "IP", or "residence".
Step 1: Check Your Network Environment
Binance detects the region of your login IP in real time. If you are using a VPN or proxy, your IP may appear as the United States, Singapore, or Hong Kong, while your verification documents are a mainland China ID card or passport.
Search "IP check" in your browser to see your current IP location.
If it shows a country/region outside mainland China, you are using a proxy or VPN.
Turn off all VPN, proxy, or accelerator software.

Step 2: Confirm the Country/Region of Residence on the Verification Page
