1. Complete Binance Account KYC
What to do: Ensure your Binance account has completed identity verification.
How to do it:
Log in to the Binance app or website, go to [Profile] → [Identification].
Follow the instructions to submit your ID documents and complete standard identity verification.
How to know it's complete: Your account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.
Accounts that have not completed KYC cannot use the deposit function.
2. Confirm the Network Where Your WLD Currently Resides
What to do: Open the wallet where you hold WLD and check which chain your assets are on — World Chain or another network.
How to do it:
Starting October 2024, World App users' assets were migrated from the Optimism network to the World Chain network.
If you are using World App or another wallet that supports World Chain, your WLD is most likely already on World Chain.
Check your transaction history or asset details in the wallet and confirm which chain is displayed in the "Network" field.
If your WLD is on another network (such as Ethereum mainnet or Optimism), Binance currently supports deposits via the WLD mainnet.
How to know it's complete: You clearly know whether your WLD tokens are currently on World Chain or another network.
World App completed its migration to World Chain in October 2024, and transactions now default to the World Chain network. If you are sending from World App, you need to confirm this step first.
3. Network Support Status: World Chain Is Currently Unavailable
What to do: Understand Binance's current WLD network support scope to avoid invalid operations.

WLD mainnet: Binance completed WLD mainnet integration on October 24, 2024, and has opened deposit and withdrawal functions.
Binance currently does not support:

4. Get Your WLD Deposit Address on Binance
What to do: Log in to Binance and get your WLD deposit address from the deposit page.
How to do it:
Log in to the Binance app or website, click [Wallet] → [Deposit] → [Deposit Crypto].
Search for "WLD".
Select network: Choose a network currently supported by Binance. The WLD mainnet is currently available.
The page will generate a deposit address. Copy it.
How to know it's complete: You have copied the WLD deposit address provided by Binance and confirmed that the selected network matches the network where your tokens reside in your wallet.
Prerequisite: Binance KYC identity verification must be completed.
If the deposit page has multiple network options, select the one that exactly matches the network where your WLD resides in your wallet.

5. Important Notes for WLD Transfer Operations
Scenario A: Your WLD is on World Chain
Do not initiate a transfer yet. Binance does not currently support World Chain, and funds will not arrive.
Binance customer support has replied to users: World Chain "is currently not supported… efforts are being made to establish this compatibility," and users are advised to follow Binance's official channels for future integration updates.
Save your TxID. Once Binance announces the completion of World Chain integration, you can use the "Deposit Not Credited" self-service recovery process to handle it.
Scenario B: Your WLD is on another supported network (such as WLD mainnet)
Open your wallet, find your WLD asset, and click [Send].
Paste the WLD address you copied from Binance into the "Receiving Address" field.
Select network: It must exactly match the network you selected on the Binance deposit page.
Confirm your wallet has enough gas fees, then submit the transfer.
How to know it's complete: The transaction has been submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction Broadcasted," and you have obtained the TxID.
Common reasons for failure:
Using the World Chain network to deposit to Binance: Binance does not currently support this, and funds will not arrive.
Wrong network selected: You selected WLD mainnet on Binance but chose World Chain or another network in your wallet, sending funds to the wrong address.
Insufficient gas fees: Your wallet does not have enough gas tokens to pay the transaction fee.
Risk reminders:
Network mismatch may cause delayed crediting of funds: World Chain deposits currently cannot be credited. Binance estimates it may take 3-4 weeks to complete compatibility development. This is only an estimate based on user feedback; actual timelines are subject to official announcements.
Before depositing, always verify the available networks displayed on the Binance deposit page. Do not rely on your wallet's default options.
If funds have already been sent via World Chain, save your TxID and do not initiate another transfer.
How to confirm you have operated correctly?
If the network you selected when depositing is currently supported by Binance (WLD mainnet), enter the TxID on a block explorer to confirm the status is "Success," then log in to Binance to check if your WLD balance has increased. If you used World Chain for the deposit, save your TxID and wait for Binance to officially announce the completion of World Chain integration before going through the self-service recovery process. For first-time transfers, it is recommended to test with a small amount first.
