How to Deposit SYN to Binance? Address and Network Verification
The core rule for SYN deposits: make sure the network you are using is still on Binance's supported list. Binance stopped supporting SYN deposits on seven networks—Arbitrum, Solana, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche C-Chain, Fantom and BNB Smart Chain—at 16:00 on June 3, 2026. Deposits via these networks after the deadline will not be credited, potentially resulting in permanent loss of assets. If you are operating before that date and the network is still on the list, simply follow the standard procedure.

1. Complete Binance account KYC
What to do: Ensure your Binance account has completed identity verification.
How to do:
Log in to the Binance App or website, go to 【Profile】→【Identity Verification】.
Follow the instructions to submit your ID documents and complete standard identity verification.
What counts as done: The account shows "Verified" or "Standard Identity Verification" status.
Accounts without KYC cannot use the deposit function.
2. Confirm whether the SYN network you are using is still supported
What to do: Before depositing, first check whether the network where your SYN is located in your wallet is still supported for deposits by Binance.
How to do:
Log in to Binance, go to 【Deposit】→【Deposit Crypto】, search for "SYN".
View the list of supported networks currently shown on the deposit page.
Binance has stopped supporting SYN deposits on the following networks since 16:00 June 3, 2026:
Arbitrum
Solana
Polygon
Optimism
Avalanche C-Chain
Fantom
BNB Smart Chain
What counts as done: You clearly know which network your SYN is on, and you have confirmed that Binance's deposit page still supports that network.
SYN is a cross-chain bridge token with liquidity dispersed across multiple chains. This adjustment involves 14 network-token pairings across 5 tokens. SYN is the most affected, losing deposit and withdrawal support on 7 networks simultaneously.
3. Obtain the SYN deposit address on Binance
What to do: Log in to Binance, enter the deposit page, select a Binance-supported network and obtain the corresponding address.
How to do:
Log in to the Binance App or website, click 【Wallet】→【Deposit】→【Deposit Crypto】.
Search for "SYN".
Select network: Choose a network currently supported by Binance. If unsure, go by the network list actually displayed on the deposit page.
The page will generate the deposit address for that network. Click 【Copy】 to copy the address.
What counts as done: You have copied the SYN deposit address provided by Binance and confirmed that the selected network matches the network in your wallet.
Prerequisite: Binance KYC identity verification has been completed and the deposit is made before 16:00 June 3, 2026 (if using a network that has been removed).
Special notice: If the deposit page does not show the network option you want, it means SYN deposit support for that network has been stopped. Deposits using a removed network will not be credited to your account.
4. Initiate transfer from external wallet: network must match
What to do: Deposit SYN from your external wallet to Binance. The network on both sides must be exactly the same.
How to do:
Open your external wallet, find the SYN asset, and click 【Send】.
Paste the SYN address you copied from Binance in the "Receiving address" field.
Critical step: Under "Select network", you must choose exactly the same network as shown on the Binance deposit page.
Confirm that you have enough gas fee tokens in your wallet (e.g., ETH for Ethereum network, BNB for BNB Chain, etc.).
Submit the transaction.
What counts as done: The transaction has been submitted, the wallet shows "Transaction broadcast" or "Pending confirmation", and you have the TxID.
Common failure reasons:
Network removed: After June 3, 2026, depositing SYN using a removed network (such as Arbitrum, Solana, etc.) will result in funds not being credited.
Wrong network selected: Choosing a network different from the one on the Binance deposit page sends funds to the wrong address.
Insufficient gas fee: Not enough gas tokens in the wallet to pay the transaction fee.
Risk warning:
Network mismatch = potential permanent loss of funds: Binance officially warns that deposits via these networks after the deadline will not be confirmed and may result in asset loss.
All affected tokens can be checked via the "Manage Network Status" page: Before taking action, always verify the network options actually displayed on the deposit page.

5. Confirm receipt
What to do: Wait for blockchain confirmations and check your Binance account balance.
How to do:
Use the TxID to check the transaction status on the corresponding block explorer.
Log in to Binance, go to 【Wallet】→【Spot Account】 and check whether the SYN balance has increased.
What counts as done: The SYN balance in Binance Spot Account has been updated.
How to confirm you have done it correctly?
Enter the TxID in a block explorer and confirm the transaction status is "Success". Then log in to Binance and see the increased SYN balance on the 【Assets】 page. For first-time operations, it is recommended to send a small test amount first. Once it arrives, transfer the remaining balance. If it does not arrive for a long time, check whether the network you selected for the deposit is still on Binance's supported list—this is the most important verification step for SYN deposits.
