Depositing CORE to OKX does not require a Memo tag. Simply copy the deposit address provided by OKX and paste it on the sending platform. No extra numbers or notes are needed. Also, be careful not to confuse CORE with other tokens that share a similar name, such as CoremindAI or CORESIGHT.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, confirm two things:

  • You have completed identity verification (KYC) on OKX; otherwise, the deposit function will be unavailable.
  • You hold CORE in another exchange or wallet and know how to initiate a withdrawal.

Steps

Scenario A: Deposit CORE to OKX from an external wallet or another exchange

  1. Get the OKX CORE deposit address: Open the OKX App or website, go to [Assets] – [Deposit]. Search for "CORE" in the search box. From the results, make sure you select Core (CORE) — be aware of the similarly named CoremindAI and CORESIGHT. Choose the deposit network (Core chain). The system will generate a deposit address. Copy it. The page will not display a Memo or Tag field, which means CORE does not require one.
  2. Initiate the transfer on the sending platform: Go to wherever you store your CORE (another exchange or wallet) and choose "Withdraw" or "Send". Paste the address you copied in step 1 into the recipient address field.
  3. Confirm the network and submit: The network selected on the sending platform must be the Core chain. After verifying the address, enter the amount, confirm the network fee, and submit the transaction.
    • When is it considered complete?: The sending platform shows "Withdrawal successful" and generates a TxID (transaction hash).

Scenario B: Buy CORE using funds on OKX

  1. First, make sure your OKX account has a balance of USDT or fiat currency. If not, go to the [Buy Crypto] page to add funds.
  2. Enter [Trade] – [Spot], search for "CORE", and choose the CORE/USDT trading pair.
  3. Enter the amount to buy. A market order will execute immediately; a limit order will wait to be filled.
    • When is it considered complete?: The order status shows "Filled", and your CORE balance on the [Assets] page increases.

Common Reasons for Failure and Risk Warnings

  • Common failure reason: wrong network or deposit suspension. If you send CORE using a different network to OKX's Core chain address, the funds will not be automatically credited. Also, if OKX temporarily suspends CORE deposits and withdrawals for network maintenance, a forced transfer may delay your funds.
  • Risk warning: Each OKX user's CORE deposit address is fixed. However, it is recommended that you always revisit the deposit page before each deposit to confirm the network status is normal and the address has not changed.

How to Confirm the Operation

After the transfer is complete, go to OKX [Assets] – [Transaction History] and filter for CORE. If you see a record like "Deposit pending" or "Deposit successful", your address was correct and the funds have entered the OKX system. If the TxID shows "Success" on the Core blockchain explorer but the deposit does not appear on OKX after 30 minutes, contact OKX customer support with the TxID.
