On-chain confirmation is complete, but your account shows 'Pending Additional Info.' This usually triggers a Travel Rule (international transfer rule) review, requiring you to provide the sender's identity information to unlock the deposit. You don't need to make a new transfer; simply find the locked deposit record on the Assets page and click 'Submit'.

First, Understand Whether It's a 'Standard Deposit Confirmation' or 'Additional Verification'

A normal deposit consists of three steps: the sending platform initiates the transfer → block miners confirm → OKX credits the funds. If the transaction status on the blockchain explorer shows 'Success,' but your OKX account still has no available balance and the status displays 'Pending Additional Info' or 'Locked,' it's not a blockchain confirmation issue; rather, it has triggered the platform's compliance review.

The OKX deposit page displays the 'number of confirmations required for crediting' and the 'number of confirmations required for withdrawal unlocking.' On-chain confirmation only completes the 'crediting' part. If the deposit triggers additional Travel Rule verification, your assets will remain locked until you provide the required information.

Prerequisite: You've confirmed on a blockchain explorer that the transaction status is 'Success,' but the deposit record in your OKX account shows 'Pending Additional Info' or 'Locked.'

If You Can't Find the 'Pending Additional Info' Record

Sometimes the deposit page doesn't automatically show the entry for additional information; you need to find it manually:

  • App: Assets → Deposit → On the coin selection page, tap the three dots in the upper right corner → Deposit Records. Find the record with status "Pending Additional Info" or "Processing," tap it, and you should see the entry to submit the information.
  • Web: Asset Management → Deposit → All Deposit Records. Locate the corresponding record and follow the prompts to submit.

If you can't find this transaction in the deposit records but on-chain confirmation is complete, it might involve special cases such as deposit smart contracts, batch deposits, or very small amounts. You'll need to submit a ticket through the 'Deposit Self-Service Tool'.

Risk warning: If the information you provide does not match the actual on-chain sender details (e.g., wrong exchange name or misspelled name), the review may fail, and the unlock of your assets will be delayed. Repeated submissions of inconsistent information may also trigger account risk controls.

After completing the steps above, how to confirm the unlock was successful?

After submitting the information, go back to the [Assets] page and check the status of the deposit. If the status changes to 'Completed' or 'Available,' it means the information has passed review and the funds have been unlocked. If it still shows 'Pending Additional Info' after more than 2 hours, contact OKX online support with the transaction hash (TxID) to inquire about the review progress.
