What Time Zone Does Binance Tax Report Use?
Binance trading history and tax reports uniformly use UTC+0 time zone. Whether you download spot trading records or generate tax reports via Binance Tax, all data is timestamped in UTC+0. You don't need to convert manually, but you must be aware of this, otherwise your records may not match when reconciling transactions.

Where can this rule be confirmed?
When downloading spot trade history from the Binance official help center, the system clearly states: "History is displayed in UTC+0 time zone and includes information before midnight."
Official export path: [Orders] - [Spot Orders] - [Trade History] - [Export Trade History], select "All Time" to generate the report
After generation, the report is downloaded as a CSV file with UTC+0 timestamps
Which reports does this rule apply to?
This time zone rule applies not only to spot trading records, but also to capital gains and income reports generated through Binance Tax. Binance Tax is a free on-platform tax tool that supports multiple costing methods such as FIFO, LIFO, and Average Cost Basis.
If you are using the app, the entry is the [Trade History] icon in the top right corner of [Trade] - [Spot] - [Open Orders]. The export logic is the same as the web version: instant download within a 6-month range; for periods longer than 6 months, the system will generate the file.
