How to Access Binance Simulated Trading for New Accounts
Binance simulated trading is built directly into the trading pages—no extra registration or application required. On the web, find it in the "Trade" dropdown menu; in the app, look under the "More" module. Once inside, the system automatically allocates virtual funds (Spot $5,000, Futures $16,800). No KYC is needed, simply log in with your Binance account.

1. Log in to your Binance account
What to do: Sign in to the web or app with your existing Binance account.
How to do it:
- Visit the Binance official website binance.com or open the official app.
- Enter your email/phone and password to log in.
- If you haven't registered yet, complete the sign-up first, then proceed to simulated trading.
What counts as done: You are logged in and can see the home screen market data.
Prerequisites: You need a Binance account. Even without completing KYC, you can access simulated trading—it does not affect usage.
Common reason for failure:
- Using the Testnet portal – simulated trading and Testnet are separate systems; the former uses real market data, while the latter has independent data.
2. Enter the simulated trading portal
What to do: Find the simulated trading entrance and enter the virtual trading environment.
How to do it:
Option A: Web platform
- Click "Trade" in the top navigation bar.
- In the dropdown menu, locate "Simulated Trading" or "Demo Trading".
- Alternatively, inside the spot trading interface, click "Settings" → "Preferences" → "Simulated Trading" to switch.
Option B: Mobile App
- Tap the "More" module on the home screen.
- Under the "Recommended" section, find "Simulated Trading".
- You can also go into a specific trading page, then tap the "..." menu to find the simulated trading entry.
What counts as done: You have entered the simulated trading interface and can see virtual asset balances and market prices.
Common reason for failure:
- The page doesn't load – simulated trading may not be available in some regions; please verify whether your location is supported.
A clear "Simulated Trading" label in the upper right corner of the trading page helps distinguish it from live trading.
3. Check your virtual funds and start trading
What to do: Confirm that the system-allocated virtual funds have arrived, then place orders just like real trading.
How to do it:
- Once inside simulated trading, the system automatically assigns:
- Spot simulated account: $5,000 virtual USDT
- Futures simulated account: $16,800 virtual USDT
- You can view your virtual balances on the "Assets" page.
- On the trading page, select a trading pair, enter price and quantity, and click Buy or Sell – the operation is identical to live trading.
What counts as done: You have placed a simulated order that got filled and experienced the complete trading flow.
Simulated trading uses real market data; prices and order books mirror the live market, though execution may have slight differences.

4. Reset virtual funds (optional)
What to do: If your virtual funds are wiped out or you want to restart practice, manually reset your balance.
How to do it:
- Go to the "Assets" page in simulated trading.
- Select the account you want to reset (Spot or Futures).
- Click the "Reset" button; the system will restore the initial virtual funds.
- Note: You must cancel all open orders before resetting.
What counts as done: Virtual funds are restored to the initial amount and you can begin practicing again.
Common reason for failure:
- Tapping "Reset" without cancelling open orders – the system will prompt you to cancel pending orders first.
Next step: Now open Binance, find "Simulated Trading" in the "Trade" menu, and place a small order to get familiar with the interface. Remember, this is just practice—profits and losses are virtual. Only consider switching to real funds after you can consistently make gains in the simulator. To return to live trading, simply click "Return to Live Trading" in the upper right corner.
