How to Troubleshoot Missing UNI Deposits to Binance?
If your UNI deposit to Binance has not been credited to your account, complete two preliminary checks first: confirm the on-chain transaction status shows Success, and verify your selected deposit network. UNI is natively deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, and standard deposits to Binance are processed via the ERC20 network. If you mistakenly send UNI via BSC or other non-matching networks, the funds will not be automatically credited.

1. Confirm which network you selected for the deposit
What to do: Return to the platform (wallet or exchange) that you sent the UNI from, and confirm the network you selected when initiating the withdrawal. This is the most critical step, and the source of most missing deposit issues.
How to do it:
Open your wallet or withdrawal history, and check the network selected for this specific UNI transfer.
Scenario A: You used the Ethereum (ERC20) network. This is UNI's official native mainnet, and Binance has supported ERC20 UNI deposits since UNI launched on the platform in September 2020. If you used this network and the on-chain status shows Success, continue to the next step of your check.
Scenario B: You used BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Polygon, or other non-ERC20 networks. If you selected the BSC network for your transfer, but chose ERC20 on Binance's deposit page, the two networks do not match, so funds will not be credited automatically, and you will need to use Binance's self-service recovery process to resolve the issue.
Completion check: You have clearly confirmed which network your UNI transfer was routed through.
Prerequisite: You can log in to the sending platform to view your full transaction history.
Common failure cause: Selection of a non-ERC20 network. While UNI is a native ERC-20 token, wrapped versions of UNI exist on other blockchains, and UNI on different networks are treated as separate assets that cannot be cross-deposited automatically.
2. Retrieve the TxID from the sending platform
What to do: Copy the TxID (transaction hash) of this transfer to look up its full on-chain status.
How to do it:
For withdrawals sent from an exchange: Log in to the sending exchange, enter the withdrawal history page, locate your UNI transfer, and copy the corresponding TxID.
For withdrawals sent from an on-chain wallet: Open your crypto wallet, find this UNI transfer in your transaction records, and copy its TxID.
A standard TxID is a 64-character hexadecimal string starting with 0x.
Completion check: You have successfully obtained the full TxID for your UNI transaction.
Prerequisite: The sending platform shows the status as "Completed" rather than "Processing". If the transaction is still in progress, wait for it to finish before proceeding with your check.
3. Look up the transaction status on the corresponding blockchain explorer
What to do: Use your copied TxID on the matching blockchain explorer to verify the real on-chain status of the transfer. Your UNI transfer is only confirmed as successfully sent if it shows "Success" on the blockchain.
How to do it:
For ERC20 (Ethereum) transfers: Open Etherscan (etherscan.io), paste your TxID, and confirm the transaction status shows Success. If the status is "Fail" or "Dropped & Replaced", the original transfer did not complete, and you will need to contact the sending platform for support.
For BEP20 (BSC) transfers: Open BSCScan (bscscan.com), paste your TxID, and confirm the transaction status shows Success.
Required block confirmations:
- ERC20: Binance typically requires 12-20 block confirmations before crediting your deposit
- BEP20: Binance typically requires 15 block confirmations before crediting your deposit
If the number of confirmations has not reached the required threshold, simply wait patiently for the process to complete.
Completion check: You have confirmed the transaction status is "Success" on the corresponding explorer, and the required number of block confirmations has been met.
Prerequisite: You have already retrieved the correct TxID from step 2.
Common failure cause: Using the wrong blockchain explorer will return a "transaction not found" error. Use Etherscan for ERC20 transfers, and BSCScan for BEP20 transfers.

4. Use Binance's self-service deposit recovery channel (if funds still do not arrive)
What to do: If the on-chain status shows Success, all required confirmations are met, and more than 1 hour has passed with no credit to your Binance account, you can submit a request via Binance's built-in self-service recovery feature.
How to do it:
Eligibility requirements for the self-service recovery feature:
- The on-chain transaction status must show "Confirmed / Success"
- At least 1 hour has passed since you initiated the deposit
- Requests for missing Memo/Tag issues are also accepted via this channel (UNI deposits do not require a Memo in most cases)
Step-by-step operation guide:
- Locate the "Missing Deposit Self-Service Recovery" application entry in Binance's Help Center
- Paste your TxID, the system will automatically pre-fill the asset name, network, and destination deposit address information
- Confirm all pre-filled information is correct, then submit your request
- Check the processing status of your application in the "Application Records" page
If the self-service recovery channel cannot resolve your issue, contact Binance customer support and provide the following information:
- Your Binance account registered email address
- Asset name (UNI)
- Exact deposit amount
- Full transaction TxID
- The network you used to send the transfer
Completion check: You have successfully submitted your request, and obtained a support ticket number or visible record in your application history.
Prerequisite: You have already confirmed the on-chain transaction status is Success in step 3.
Risk Warning: If you sent UNI via BSC or another non-ERC20 network that Binance does not officially support for UNI deposits, processing your recovery request may incur additional fees, and 100% successful recovery of funds is not guaranteed.
Next steps:
Follow the workflow in order: confirm the network your transfer used, retrieve the TxID → look up the transaction on the corresponding explorer to confirm Success status → verify the required number of block confirmations has been reached. If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but Binance has not credited your account after 1 hour, submit a request via the self-service recovery channel, and monitor your Binance inbox for system notifications. For future UNI deposits, it is strongly recommended to use the Ethereum (ERC20) network for the most reliable and seamless processing experience.
