What to Do If PEPE Deposit to Binance Is Not Credited?

If your PEPE deposit to Binance hasn't arrived, don't panic. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot. PEPE is deployed on both Ethereum (ERC20) and BNB Chain (BEP20), and Binance supports deposits on both networks. However, the deposit addresses and processes for the two chains are completely different – mixing them up can easily cause issues.

1. Confirm You Selected the Correct Network

What to do: Go back to the platform (wallet or exchange) from which you sent the PEPE, and confirm which network was chosen for the transfer.

How to do it:

Scenario A: Sent from an on-chain wallet. Open your wallet and check the active network:

  • If it's Ethereum Mainnet, the transfer used the ERC20 network.

  • If it's BNB Smart Chain, it used the BEP20 network.

Scenario B: Withdrawal from another exchange. Log into the withdrawing platform, open the withdrawal history, and check the network option selected for that PEPE transaction.

PEPE contract address information:

  • The contract address shown on Binance's official site is 0x6982...311933

  • The BSC contract address is 0x25d887Ce7a35172C62FeBFD67a1856F20FaEbB00

The deposit address displayed on Binance's deposit page corresponds to the network you selected and must match the network chosen when you withdrew the funds.

When is this step done: You clearly know whether this transfer used the ERC20 or BEP20 network.

Prerequisite: You can log into the sending platform to view the transaction records.

Common reason for failure: PEPE exists on both ERC20 and BEP20, but the deposit addresses are different. If you picked the wrong network, the funds go to an address on the wrong network, and Binance cannot credit them automatically.

2. Get the TxID from the Sending Platform

What to do: Copy the TxID (transaction hash) of this transfer to check its on-chain status.

How to do it:

From an exchange withdrawal: Log into the withdrawing platform, go to the withdrawal history, find the PEPE transaction, and copy its TxID.

From an on-chain wallet: Open your wallet, locate the transaction record for this transfer, and copy the TxID.

A TxID is a 64-character hexadecimal string starting with "0x".

When is this step done: You have obtained the TxID for this transaction.

Prerequisite: You can log into the sending platform normally.

Common reason for failure: If the sending platform shows "Processing" instead of "Completed", the transaction hasn't been confirmed on-chain yet. Wait until the status changes to "Completed" before checking.

3. Check the Transaction Status on the Corresponding Blockchain Explorer

What to do: Use the TxID on the appropriate blockchain explorer to see the real on-chain status of this transfer.

How to do it:

ERC20 (Ethereum): Open Etherscan (etherscan.io), paste the TxID, and check that the status is Success and that there are enough block confirmations.

BEP20 (BSC): Open BSCScan (bscscan.com), paste the TxID, and check that the status is Success.

When is this step done: You have confirmed on the correct explorer that the status is "Success" and the number of confirmations is sufficient.

Prerequisite: You already have the TxID from Step 2.

Common reason for failure: PEPE exists on both chains. Trying to look up a BSC transaction on Etherscan will show "Not Found". You must use the matching explorer.

4. Check Binance Deposit History and Use the Self-Service Recovery Channel

What to do: If the explorer shows Success but the funds aren't in your Binance account, check the deposit history. If more than 1 hour has passed, you can submit a self-service recovery request.

How to do it:

  1. In the Binance app, go to FundsDeposit History and see if this transaction appears. If it shows "Pending" or "Processing", it's in the queue – continue waiting.

  2. If the blockchain shows "Confirmed/Success" but the funds haven't arrived after 1 hour, you can submit a self-service recovery request. Path: Find the "Deposit Not Credited - Self-Service Recovery" entry in the Binance Help Center, paste the TxID, and the system will attempt to auto-fill the coin, network, and deposit address.

  3. If the self-service recovery channel cannot process it, contact Binance customer support and provide the following information: your Binance account email, coin name (PEPE), deposit amount, TxID, selected network (ERC20 or BEP20).

Binance may request additional materials when processing a recovery request, such as a video recording to prove the transaction is genuine. If the recovery is successful, a network handling fee will be charged.

When is this step done: You have successfully submitted the application and received a ticket number or application record.

Prerequisite: Step 3 confirmed that the on-chain status is Success.

Risk reminder: Self-service recovery is not 100% guaranteed; it depends on Binance's technical feasibility assessment. If this deposit is a refund from a withdrawal on another platform, it is recommended to prepare the transaction records (including TxID) between you and that platform in advance.

Next steps:

Now, proceed in order: obtain the TxID → check the status on the corresponding explorer (Etherscan or BSCScan) to confirm Success → look for the record in Binance's deposit history. If the explorer shows Success but Binance hasn't credited it, wait 30 minutes for confirmations to accumulate. If still not credited after more than 1 hour, submit a request via the self-service recovery channel. After submission, watch for Binance in-app notifications; processing time depends on the manual review queue.
