On Binance, managing common addresses is actually the "withdrawal address management" feature. It is not on the deposit page, but under security settings or wallet settings, used to save your frequently used withdrawal addresses for quick reuse without manual input.
Step 1: Find the "Address Management" page
This entry is a bit hidden; the path differs on the App and Web. Choose based on your device.
Web: After logging in, hover over the [email address] or [avatar] in the top right, click [Security] from the dropdown. Scroll down to find [Address Management] area, click [Manage Addresses] to enter.
App: Tap [Wallet] in the bottom navigation, then the settings icon in the top right corner, go to [Address Book] or [Address Management] to see your saved addresses.
Completion standard: You are on the Address Management page and can see the "Add Withdrawal Address" or "Add New Address" button.
Step 2: Save common addresses to the "Address Book"
The address book is like a contact list. Once saved, you can select the address directly when withdrawing without manually entering each time.
How to do it: On the address management page, click [Add Withdrawal Address]. In the pop-up window, fill in the information as prompted:
Select Coin (Coin): e.g., BTC, ETH.
Select Network (Network): e.g., ERC20, TRC20, BEP20. This step is critical; make sure the network matches the receiving wallet's network.
Enter Address (Address): Paste the external wallet address you want to save.
Set Label (Label): Give it a name like "My Cold Wallet", "OKX Exchange" for easy recognition.
Completion standard: After clicking save, the address appears in your address book list. Double-check the coin, network, label, and first few characters of the address are correct.
Step 3: Enable "Whitelist" mode for an extra layer of security
If you prioritize security and don't mind the hassle of adding new addresses each time, you can turn this on. With whitelist mode enabled, withdrawals can only go to addresses in your address book; attempts to send to a new address will be blocked.
How to do it: Still on the [Address Management] page, find the [Whitelist] toggle and turn it on. After enabling, you need to go to your address list and "star" each confirmed address to officially include it in the whitelist.
Completion standard: Whitelist mode shows "Enabled". When you try to withdraw to a manually entered new address, it will show an error or be blocked.
Common failure reason: Some people confuse the "Address Book" with the "Whitelist". The Address Book is for saving addresses for convenience, while the Whitelist forces you to only select from the address book; you cannot transfer to any other address. For normal withdrawals, using the address book is enough.
High-risk warning: The whitelist feature on Binance.US can only be managed via the web platform; the app does not support it yet. If you are an app user, remember to use a browser to log in to the web version when setting up the whitelist. Also, if you select "Skip Verification" when saving a withdrawal address, you won't need 2FA for the next withdrawal, but that increases security risk.
