How to Control Delegated Trading on Binance? Ceffu Custody and Withdrawal

The "delegated trading control" and "withdrawal" in the title refer to MirrorX (and the later MirrorRSV) off-exchange settlement solution in the context of Binance and Ceffu. The core problem it solves is: institutional or VIP users want to keep assets in custody outside the exchange but still trade on Binance. Ceffu "mirrors" the assets into a Binance sub-account for trading, while the assets themselves remain locked in a Ceffu custody wallet. Operationally, "withdrawal" means un-delegating or transferring assets out of the third-party custody sub-account.

First, be clear: this feature is currently only available to Binance VIP and institutional clients, and Ceffu only accepts corporate clients after KYB verification. Regular individual users cannot use it. If you are not in this category, the steps below do not apply to you, and there is no "personal version" of Ceffu custody delegated trading.

What "Control" Means During Delegation

After delegating assets from Ceffu to Binance, the assets are locked on the Ceffu side and cannot be withdrawn directly. At the same time, a 1:1 mirrored asset appears in the third-party custody sub-account on Binance, which you can use for spot, margin, and futures trading. Control is split at this point: trading rights are on Binance, while asset withdrawal rights depend on the un-delegation action on Ceffu.

MirrorX uses a T+1 automatic off-exchange settlement with no fees. The later MirrorRSV works similarly but stores assets in isolated cold wallets, emphasizing on-chain verifiability, and the mirrored assets can be used with Binance Unified Account (Portfolio Margin) products. If you use MirrorX, daily trading is not affected. However, any transfer of mirrored assets out of the Binance sub-account will trigger automatic settlement. Only after settlement is complete will the corresponding assets be unlocked on the Ceffu side.

Two Withdrawal Paths and When to Use Them

Path 1: Transfer from Binance third-party custody sub-account back to the main account

If you only want to move some mirrored assets from the trading sub-account back to your own Binance main account, you can do this on the Binance side by transferring assets from the "third-party custody" sub-account to the parent account. After this step, the assets return to your regular Binance account system. But note that this essentially removes the mirror relationship between these assets and Ceffu custody. The corresponding locked assets on the Ceffu side will be handled in the settlement process.

Path 2: Un-delegate on Ceffu and withdraw from the custody wallet

If you want to completely remove assets from this system, return them to the Ceffu custody wallet, and then withdraw to an external address, you need to initiate an un-delegation request on the Ceffu side. Ceffu officially describes this as "instant delegation/un-delegation." However, "instant" refers to the change in delegation status. The actual unlocking and availability of assets depends on whether settlement is complete. MirrorX's T+1 settlement means that after un-delegation, assets do not instantly become on-chain balances that can be freely withdrawn. A safer check is: confirm on the Ceffu interface that the delegation status for that asset has been removed and the available balance has been restored, then initiate a withdrawal. Do not assume it is complete just because the Binance sub-account balance has changed.

Key Risks and Checks

The most common mistake during delegation is treating the "mirrored balance" as a "withdrawable balance." The asset amount shown in the Binance sub-account is for trading and does not mean you can withdraw the same amount directly from Binance. The withdrawable portion is limited to trading profits, if any. The withdrawal of principal is subject to the delegation status on the Ceffu side. One observable check is: when trying to withdraw on Binance, if the system rejects it or the withdrawable amount is far less than the book balance, it means the assets are still locked in the mirror and you need to go back to Ceffu to un-delegate.

Another branch to note is settlement currency. Some third-party service providers explain that Mirror settlement is done in the originally mirrored currency, and trading profits and losses are not automatically converted to the settlement currency. This means if you mirrored BTC and want to un-delegate after trading, you need to ensure you have enough of that currency to complete settlement. This information comes from Bequant's help documentation, not directly from Binance or Ceffu. It can serve as a reference for checking currency matching before operating, but the specific rules should be confirmed through your own Ceffu account interface or your account manager.

If you are not an institutional or VIP user, you do not need to follow the above. For regular users, Binance asset custody is simply the exchange account itself. There is no layered control of Ceffu delegated trading. What you need to check is account security settings and withdrawal permissions, not the delegation status of off-exchange settlement.
