Bitget suspended withdrawals after a security incident on September 24, 2026, and later resumed withdrawals in phases by coin and network. If you are waiting for your coin to become available, or if you have already submitted a request but have not received your funds yet, this article explains how to check the resumption progress, the timeline for each phase, and how to troubleshoot if your withdrawal has not arrived.

First, confirm one thing: which batch your coin belongs to
The resumption plan announced by Bitget at the time was divided into four batches by coin and network. All times are in UTC+8:
| Batch | Opening Time | Covered Coins and Networks |
|---|---|---|
| Batch 1 | September 28, 16:00 | BTC (Bitcoin network) |
| Batch 2 | September 29, 16:00 | ETH (Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism) |
| Batch 3 | September 30, 16:00 | USDT (Ethereum, BSC, Solana, Tron) |
| Batch 4 | October 2, 16:00 | Other tokens, fiat, P2P |
After BTC opened on September 28, the first batch of about 6,946 requests received blockchain confirmation, and there was no order backlog at that time. If the coin you want to withdraw is not in the corresponding batch in the table above, you will need to wait until Batch 4.
One detail that is easy to overlook: "withdrawals resumed" means the withdrawal entry for that coin on that network is available again, not that your withdrawal request will be processed automatically. You still need to initiate the withdrawal manually. The platform will not do it for you.
Three places to check the resumption progress
Place 1: The withdrawal page on the Bitget App or website
Open the withdrawal page for the relevant coin. If the button is gray and cannot be clicked, it means that coin or network has not yet opened. If the button can be clicked, it means the withdrawal service has resumed. This is the most direct way to check, and you do not need to look up announcements separately.
Note that the same coin may support multiple networks. For example, USDT on Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron belongs to different networks. If one network has opened, it does not mean all of them have opened. When selecting a network on the withdrawal page, if a network shows "suspended" or cannot be selected, it means that network has not resumed yet.
Place 2: Bitget official announcement page
Bitget announced the resumption of withdrawals in batches. Each time a batch opens, the Help Center publishes a corresponding resumption announcement. For example, the announcement for the BTC-Bitcoin network resumption is titled "Bitget 關於恢復 BTC - BITCOIN 提幣的公告". You can search for "resume withdrawals" or the name of the relevant coin directly in the Help Center, and sort by publication time to see the latest status.
Place 3: Bulk notifications from official customer service channels
During the incident, the Bitget customer service page posted a unified notice explaining the phased withdrawal resumption plan and reminding users that they did not need to take action in advance and should follow official channel updates. If you still cannot see the withdrawal entry after the resumption time, try refreshing the page or logging in again to rule out a front-end cache issue that prevented the status from updating.
If you already submitted a withdrawal but it has not arrived, how to tell where it is stuck
If you submitted a withdrawal after the corresponding batch opened, but the recipient has not received it, follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Check the status on the platform side
Check the status of this request in Bitget's withdrawal records. Common statuses include "processing", "submitted", and "completed". "Completed" usually only means the platform has broadcast the transaction. It does not mean the transaction has been confirmed on-chain, and it certainly does not mean the recipient has credited the funds.
If the status remains "processing" for a long time, the platform may still be reviewing or queuing the request. On the first day BTC opened, about 7,683 requests and 3,609 BTC were processed, with no backlog. However, if you submitted at a later time, or if the corresponding network was congested, processing may be slower.
Step 2: Verify the withdrawal network and address
This is the most common sticking point. The network you select for withdrawal must exactly match the deposit network supported by the recipient. For example, if you withdraw USDT from Bitget to another exchange that only supports the TRC-20 network, but you selected the Ethereum network, the assets will leave Bitget, but the recipient may not be able to credit them.
If you selected the wrong network, you need to check whether the recipient supports asset recovery for that network. Different platforms have different policies. Some can help recover the assets for a fee, while others cannot handle it. Bitget's Help Center has instructions on withdrawal network selection, but the specific recovery result depends on the recipient.
Step 3: Check the on-chain confirmation status
If Bitget shows "completed" but the recipient has not received the funds, use the transaction hash (TxID) obtained at the time of withdrawal to check on the corresponding blockchain explorer. For example, use mempool.space or blockstream.info for the BTC network, and etherscan.io for the ETH network.
If the chain shows "success", it means the transaction has been confirmed by the network. If the recipient is a centralized platform, you still need to wait for the recipient's risk control system to credit the funds. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. If the recipient is a personal wallet, the assets should appear in the address once the transaction is confirmed on-chain.
Step 4: Rule out T+N security protection
If you bought coins through C2C during the incident, you may have triggered Bitget's T+N security protection mechanism. This will restrict the withdrawal of assets equivalent to that order for N days (N is 1, 2, or 7, calculated in calendar days), but it does not affect the withdrawal of other assets in your account.
How to check: On the C2C order details page, see whether there is an unlock time displayed. If there is, it means the withdrawal eligibility for these assets will be automatically restored when the unlock time arrives. No additional application is needed.
A difference worth noting
During and after the incident, Bitget's withdrawal restrictions may come from different causes. The batch resumption was a security measure where the platform proactively suspended withdrawals and then reopened them according to plan. T+N, on the other hand, is a regular C2C risk control mechanism. The trigger conditions and resolution paths for the two are different. If you are not sure which situation applies to you, first check whether the withdrawal page can be clicked: if it cannot be clicked and the corresponding batch has already opened, there may be another risk control restriction. If it can be clicked but the withdrawal is rejected, you need to look at the specific error message.
In addition, on September 29, Bitget separately suspended withdrawals for BTC on the Binance Smart Chain network due to wallet maintenance, which was unrelated to the September 24 incident. If you use the BSC network to withdraw BTC, this restriction is independent of the resumption plan, and you need to wait for the maintenance announcement for that network.
If the withdrawal entry is open but your account is still restricted
There are several situations where your withdrawal permission may remain restricted independently of the platform-wide resumption progress:
Account security status abnormality. If your account has triggered a risk control review, your account may still be restricted even if the platform has resumed withdrawals overall. This usually requires contacting customer service and submitting materials to lift the restriction.
Specific assets marked as TE or being delisted. Bitget marks assets with insufficient liquidity or questionable compliance as "special treatment" (TE). Withdrawals for assets being delisted may be suspended separately. The handling of such assets is different from a platform-level withdrawal suspension, and you need to pay attention to the specific announcement for that asset.
Service restrictions in your region. The scope of services Bitget provides varies by region. If your account registration region does not support the withdrawal function under current policies, the platform-wide resumption will not change your account status. This judgment should be based on what your account actually shows and the official regional announcements.
What you do not need to do
Bitget has clearly stated that users do not need to take action in advance before the resumption batch opens. Withdrawal availability will be reflected directly on the platform. You do not need to re-register your account, complete additional verification, or purchase any "accelerated withdrawal" service.
If you encounter withdrawal problems after resumption, first check on your own using the steps above. After confirming that it is not a network selection error or a T+N restriction, submit the issue through Bitget's ticket system. During the incident, customer service inquiry volume was high, and ticket responses may be slower than usual.
