Will Binance Recurring Buy Continue to Deduct After Being Paused?
No. After manually pausing a recurring buy plan on Binance, the system will immediately stop subsequent automatic deductions and executions until you manually resume it. This is an instant on/off switch, not a "pause request" that needs approval.

Prerequisite: Confirm Which Type of Recurring Buy You Are Using
Binance currently has two recurring buy product lines. The navigation paths differ slightly, but the behavior after pausing is the same—no more deductions.
Convert Recurring (Spot Convert DCA): Go to [Trade] - [Convert & Block Trade] - [Recurring Buy]. Zero fees, supports hourly/daily/weekly/bi-weekly/monthly intervals.
Auto-Invest Plan: Go to [Earn] - [Auto-Invest]. Purchased assets are automatically deposited into Simple Earn flexible products.
Both will stop executing new purchases after being paused.
Steps: Verify That the Pause Has Taken Effect
Step 1: Go to the Recurring Plan Management Page
Case A (Convert Recurring): Log in to the Binance App or website, navigate to [Trade] - [Convert & Block Trade], switch to [Recurring Buy] mode, and find your active recurring plan.
Case B (Auto-Invest Plan): Go to [Earn] - [Auto-Invest], and find the plan you want to pause in the plan list.
What counts as done: You can see the list of your active recurring plans and their statuses.
Step 2: Pause the Plan
On the plan details page, find the "Pause" or "On/Off" toggle. After tapping it, the system will ask you to confirm—once you verify with two-factor authentication (2FA) or passkey, the plan is paused immediately.
What counts as done: The plan status changes from "In Progress" to "Paused" or "Stopped". This action takes effect immediately—no further deductions will occur on the current day or the next scheduled buy date.
How the System Handles Paused Plans
Failed retries due to insufficient balance: If a recurring buy execution fails because the account balance is insufficient, the system will retry in the next cycle. Only after 6 consecutive months of failed executions will the plan be automatically canceled by the system. Note—this scenario is about failures due to insufficient balance, not the same as you actively pausing the plan.
Paused plans still count toward the limit: Convert Recurring plans (both active and paused) have a total limit of 20 plans. It's recommended to regularly clean up paused or expired plans to avoid hitting the cap and being unable to create new ones.
No operations 5 minutes before and after trade execution: Recurring plans cannot be edited or stopped within 5 minutes before or after a trade is executed. This is a system lock window for processing transactions.

How to Confirm the Pause Is in Effect
Go to the recurring plan management page and check the plan status. If it shows "Paused" or "Stopped", no further deductions will occur. If you want extra reassurance, proactively check your linked payment method or spot wallet balance—if the balance remains unchanged, the pause is definitely working.
