Why Didn’t My Balance Transfer After Enabling Binance Auto-Subscribe?
After an auto-subscribe deduction fails, the money will not be transferred in automatically. If your balance hasn't decreased after enabling auto-subscribe, it's because the system checks your spot wallet balance at a specific time. When the balance is insufficient, that particular subscription attempt simply fails, and the plan moves on to the next retry – it will not top up your wallet for you.

This is different from automatic credit card payments – it's not "if the balance is low, pull money from elsewhere," but rather "if the balance is low, skip this round." Here's the explanation and how to fix it.
Prerequisites
You have already enabled an auto-subscription plan in Binance's "Convert" or "Earn" features.
You see the plan is active, but the subscription hasn't been executed.
You can access your spot wallet to check the balance.
Step 1: Identify your auto-subscription type
Binance has two different "auto-subscription/recurring" functions, and their deduction logic is completely different.
Case A: Recurring Convert
Deducts directly from your spot wallet to buy a specified coin.
If you don't enable Smart Rebalance or don't see the corresponding setting, it executes with a fixed amount and frequency.
Each time it runs, the system checks the spot wallet balance.
Case B: Auto-Subscribe for Simple Earn
At designated times each day (02:00 and 16:00 UTC), the system automatically transfers idle assets from your spot wallet to the Simple Earn account to subscribe to flexible products.
It also requires sufficient assets in the spot wallet.
Verification: Confirm whether you are using "Recurring Convert" or "Simple Earn Auto-Subscribe."
Step 2: Check that your spot wallet balance is sufficient
For either type, the deduction/subscription execution depends on the spot wallet.
Recurring Convert:
The system checks at each recurring cycle whether your spot wallet balance is enough to cover that cycle's subscription amount.
If the balance is insufficient, that particular cycle fails to execute – funds are not automatically pulled from elsewhere to make up the shortfall.
Simple Earn Auto-Subscribe:
If the available balance of the corresponding coin in your spot wallet is insufficient, that subscription attempt also won't succeed.
The system will not automatically convert other assets into the target asset to make up the difference.
Verification: Go to your spot wallet and confirm that the available balance of the target coin is equal to or greater than the subscription amount.
Step 3: Understand what happens after an insufficient balance
Recurring Convert:
The system will retry in the next recurring cycle.
If it fails continuously for 6 months, the recurring plan will be automatically canceled.
Note: Skipping a single cycle is currently not supported. If you're temporarily short of funds, you need to manually cancel the plan and create it again later.
Simple Earn Auto-Subscribe:
The system attempts at the same fixed times every day. If one day is missed due to insufficient balance, it tries again on the next subscription day.
If the balance remains insufficient, the subscription will continue to fail.
Verification: Understand that when the balance is insufficient, the system will not top up for you or make a retroactive lump-sum deduction. It will only skip that attempt.
Step 4: Top up your balance or adjust the plan
If your balance is insufficient, you have these options:
Transfer funds: Move enough assets to your spot wallet from other accounts or external wallets, then wait for the next subscription cycle to execute.
Lower the subscription amount: Edit the plan and reduce the per-cycle amount so your current balance can cover it.
Change the frequency: Extend the cycle (e.g., from daily to weekly) to give yourself more time to prepare funds.
Temporarily cancel the plan: If you're short of funds in the short term, cancel the plan and recreate it later.
Verification: After performing any of the above, the next subscription should execute normally.
Common reason for failure
Assuming that enabling auto-subscribe will "auto-top-up" your account
This is the most common misunderstanding. Auto-subscribe only helps you "auto-place an order," not "auto-deposit." The trigger is that your spot wallet must already hold sufficient idle assets. If you usually keep your assets in a Simple Earn or margin account, there won't be money in the spot wallet when the subscription attempts to run, and it will fail.
Risk reminders
Continuous failures can cancel your plan: If a Recurring Convert plan has insufficient balance for 6 consecutive months, it will be automatically terminated by the system.
Smart Rebalance doesn't change the deduction logic: Even if you enable sentiment-based Smart Rebalance, the spot wallet balance is still checked at the time of deduction. An insufficient balance will still cause failure.
Subscription price differs from the spot market price: The execution price of a recurring subscription transaction may differ from the current spot market price on Binance.

How to confirm the operation is complete
Go to your Spot Wallet and check that the target asset balance is enough to cover the next subscription amount. If the balance is insufficient, transfer funds and wait for the next cycle to execute.
Go to Recurring Plan Details or Auto-Subscribe Settings and check the plan's status – if it shows "Active" and the "Next Execution Time" is a clear date, the plan is still valid. If the plan has been canceled, you will need to create a new one.
To verify whether an insufficient balance will occur again, check your Order History or Subscription Records after the next scheduled execution to see if there is a deduction record. If there is still no record, repeat the steps above to check your balance.
